Diagnostics

Assessment of lifestyle stress

This is a unique test that provides a great deal of information about how the body reacts to different causes of stress, mental and emotional loads. It examines how the heart is continuously adjusted by the autonomic nervous system to meet the demands (stresses) of life. This consequently demonstrates the relationship between lifestyle and well-being.

Body composition analysis using Dual-Energy X-Ray Absorptiometry (DEXA)

This provides precise data on the soft tissue and bone composition in any part of the body, including bone-mineral density, lean- and fat tissue mass. These variables are used to set and monitor health, weight and fitness goals.

Digital Infrared Thermal Imaging (DITI)

Medical DITI is a non-invasive, radiation-free diagnostic technique that allows the examiner to visualise and determine the nature of numerous health conditions and soft tissue physical injuries via the graphical display of changes in skin surface temperature. This visual image graphically maps the body temperature, and the spectrum of colours indicates any fluctuation in the amount of infrared radiation being emitted from the body surface. As there is a high degree of thermal symmetry in the normal body, subtle abnormal asymmetrical temperature variations can be easily identified. This visual image has important applications in the pathology of the vascular, muscular, neural and skeletal systems, and thus can contribute to the pathogenesis and diagnosis made by the doctor.

Postural, spine and muscle imbalances assessment

Without applying harmful radiation, this test assesses the curvatures of the spinal column, the mobility of the joints and the weak links in the muscle chains. Over time, all these factors can lead to altered activity across the entire locomotive system and, if left untreated as we age, can lead to postural deformity, loss of physical performance, reduced active life and pain.

Treatments

Neurac treatment

This is an effective treatment for musculoskeletal pain and neuromuscular dysfunction. It comprises functional therapeutic exercises in suspension slings, the purpose of which is to improve physical functioning and restore pain-free pattern movements. Weaknesses and imbalances between muscles are corrected and often immediate pain relief and/or improved function can be achieved. The treatment challenges the interplay between muscles, focusing on what is causing the problem, rather than merely the symptoms.

Physiotherapy treatment

A certified physiotherapist offers comprehensive solutions to injury concerns and muscular pain using a combination of techniques.

HighTone power treatment

This treatment introduces energy into the body to activate the cells and revitalising it by increasing the cell energy potential. It also creates resonances to make the cell structures oscillate, thereby improving metabolic processes and relieving pain.

Whole-body Cryotherapy at -110oC treatment (up to 4 people)

This is a very effective treatment for the reduction of chronic-inflammatory diseases, but it is also pleasantly refreshing, psychologically beneficial, performance-enhancing and pain-relieving, resulting in glowing skin and improved sleep. After being prescribed by the medical doctor, the entire body is progressively exposed at −110° C in the cold chamber for a maximum of three minutes. This short duration physical treatment has an extensive effect. It is often combined with other treatments to effectively maximise the wellness benefit of the other treatments.

Hypoxic treatment

This treatment involves inhalations of reduced oxygen levels in a chamber or through a mask in order to improve the body’s aerobic metabolism, resulting in more efficient use of oxygen for energy production and a superior enzymatic anti-oxidative defence. This can be combined with an exercise programme and consequently promotes the overall health, wellness and fitness performance.

Anti-Gravity treatment

This equipment acts as both a wellness and rehabilitation tool that reduces the weight of the person. It facilitates exercise with less pain, achieving greater metabolic stimulation whilst reducing injury risks. The treatment is used for weight-loss programmes, strengthening and conditioning in a fall-safe environment, and for physiotherapy, following an injury or surgery on a lower extremity.

Vacuum treatment

This treatment involves the use of vacuum-induced pressure technology. This is combined with a targeted fat-burning programme that also reduces cellulite.
